Some suggestions for recycling:
- Recycle cans, glass & paper through waste collection or by taking to recycling banks.
- Recycle clothes by taking to recycling banks or to charity shops eg St Mary’s Hospice shop on The Green.
- Recycle mobile phones by using freepost envelopes (these will be available at St Nicolas Church throughout February) or put them in the box in St Nicolas’
- Recycle ink cartridges by using Freepost envelopes (again these will be available at ST Nicolas Church) or put them in the box in St Nicolas’
- Recycle plastic carrier bags by reusing them.
- Recycle spectacles through Vision Aid.
- Recycle household furnishings to ‘Befriend’ – a service providing essential help to families moving into the area (the Parish Office have contact information)
- Compost waste food.
