Parish Raises Thousands for Christian Aid

Every year, Kings Norton Team Parish supports Christian Aid Week. Fund-raising activities and street collections are organised to draw attention to the year-round work of Christian Aid and to generate cash to support their projects.

This year, Christian Aid week took place betwee 9th-15th May. A month later, the money raised has been counted and we are able to announce the total.

The generosity of Kings Norton residents and the combined efforts of the three churches of St Nicolas', Immanuel and Hawkesley raised £4,545.36 this year. That's an increase over the last two years and a testament to the big-heartedness of local people in very difficult economic times.

To all those who collected and raised money, on behalf of Christian Aid, a huge thank you! Next year, Christian Aid week takes place between 15th-21st May. Put it in your diary!
