Two Churchwardens
30th May 2010
A new churchwarden has been sworn in by the Archdeacon to serve alongside Stephen Plant for the next 12 months.
Paul Shelton has been attending St Nicolas' for several years but, as he explained to the congregation on Pentecost Sunday, only recently responded to what he believes to be God's prompting to get more fully involved in the life of the church. "St Nicolas' felt like home from the moment I first walked through the door," he said.
Paul, who lives in Hollywood, in the "rural bit" of the parish, manages a charity. His expertise in financial and property management will be welcome and well-used in his new role.
