The partial closure of the A441 through Kings Norton and Cotteridge is causing long delays. Traffic heading into Birmingham from Kings Norton via Cotteridge and Bournville is particularly badly affected. According to the website roadworks.org, essential maintenance of the gas supply is scheduled to reduce Pershore Road South to a single lane alongside St Nicolas' Churchyard and Kings Norton Park from 5th August to 20th September, causing congestion throughout the area. Please allow extra time for your journey if you are heading for Kings Norton Green and the surrounding streets.
