This is where you'll find announcements about local news or temporary links to items of local interest. When we have news to share of a kind that might be pinned to a noticeboard in the real world, you'll find it here. If you'd like to receive occasional emails with news of parish events, you can subscribe to our mailing list at the foot of this page.

In response to the latest government measures, St Nicolas' Church, Kings Norton, is now closed, but the life of the church continues. We have arranged for some services to take place online and these will be developed over the next few weeks.

At this time of anxiety and fear we will continue to pray daily for all who are affected by this pandemic. We will also be joining with partner organisations to offer appropriate practical help to those in our community who are in need.

You can still contact us at the Parish Office, by phone between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm (0121 458 3289) and by email during normal working hours. You will also find us on Facebook, where we have started to stream times of prayer twice a day for those who wish to join us.

We will update this website with news and information as often as necessary and would invite you to keep an eye on our new
Audio and Video pages as we create resources to support and encourage you in the weeks ahead.

  • Until further notice, there will be no services at any of our churches. Please see the announcement below. We are, however, providing daily prayer via a video livestream on Facebook together with podcasts and video recordings of selected services on our new Video and Audio pages.
