Cate Bennett

Parish Administrator & Reader

Cate is Birmingham born & bred. She trained and was licensed as a Reader in 2013 in Chester Diocese. In Kings Norton, she leads worship, preaches, takes funerals ... and runs the Parish Office (Mon-Thurs only).

David Ash

Reader

David is a retired teacher, a linguist, a photographer, and has been a Reader since 2013. He preaches, leads services, edits the Parish Magazine and manages the church's online presence.

Ruth Howman

Reader

Ruth is a nurse and the mother of Sophie. She leads creative worship and more traditional services.

Tom Spicer

Children & Families Mission Enabler

Tom works for the Diocese of Birmingham. In the parish, he focuses on the Hawkesley area, working closely with the primary academy and the local community.

Sylvia Fox

Music Minister

Sylvia is responsible for the musical life of the church. She plays the organ or piano and leads the choir & instrumental groups.

Parisa Pordelkhaki

Reader

Originally from Iran, Parisa is a scientist who specialises in bioprocessing. She was licensed as a Reader in 2014 to lead worship, preach and teach. She joined the ministry team in 2017.

Rector

Rector of Kings Norton

The position of Rector is currently vacant. All enquiries should be addressed to the Parish Office.

Pauline Weaver

Lay Minister

Pauline works closely with children and families. She is passionate about strengthening community ties and believes that being a good neighbour goes beyond the people next door.

The Revd Jayne Crooks

Honorary Assistant Priest

Jayne is a former Team Vicar, now retired. She holds Permission to Officiate within the Diocese, is Associate Chaplain for Retired Clergy and their families and our Parish Wedding Administrator.

Steve Wright

Lay Preacher

Born in Yorkshire, Steve is a retired teacher and youth worker with experience in the Methodist Church.

Fay Fearon

Reader

Fay is a Reader licensed to teach and to preach, to conduct funerals and to undertake pastoral work. She is an Assistant Warden of Readers in the Birmingham Diocese.
